BOUNCE Dallas Mission Complete

by Kasey Chinn on June 18, 2016 in BOUNCE

We are so proud of our BOUNCERS for finishing the week strong! It has been tiring, but the students have accomplished a lot in the Dallas community. From priming and painting, to siding, to roofing, to constructing porches and decks, youth groups came together to serve the community in the name of Jesus. The Lord did some great things with the physical tasks, as they were projects that made a difference in the city of Dallas. He also worked in the hearts of students, to help them understand the reason for serving. We work to serve people as a small expression of the way that God loves them. Devotionals in the morning and worship services in the evening created a rhythm to align BOUNCERS’ focus toward Christ day in and day out.

Summer 2016’s first week of BOUNCE is in the books! Thanks so much to all those who were involved. There are so many people it takes to make this happen, and every role is important. From the coordinators to the staff to the students to the volunteers, each person is appreciated for what they have contributed this week. We are proud of the BOUNCERS for investing in the people they served. It is our prayer that people encountered God for who He is, and that we will see students “BOUNCE” again next year!
