Church Planting Day One in Dallas

by Cecily McIlwain on July 24, 2019 in BOUNCE

Bouncers started their day with great training in how they can share their faith. After some practicing and prayer we sent them into the city to begin their respective projects.

Students who partnered with Blueprint International Sanctuary stepped out of their comfort zones to spend time inviting residents in apartment buildings to back-yard Bible clubs and a block party hosted at the end of the week. As with any mission trip…we are learning the value of flexibility. So, this group of students will spend the rest of their week partnering with Duncanville’s First Baptist Church to pass out the Jesus film and continue clubs in the Duncanville community. They will be able to carry over some of their original plans to this new location. In any case, they are looking forward to any new opportunities that await them tomorrow.

Alisa, an incoming high school student, said that she is looking forward to sharing the gospel with kids and helping them further their faith this week during back-yard Bible clubs.  We are so thankful for these student’s positive attitudes and willingness to serve in any capacity that furthers Christ’s Kingdom. Please pray for this group of students as they continue to be flexible and impact communities for Christ.
