It's GO TIME

Bouncers wrapped up a long and hard first day of work! Students came back from their worksites with transformational testimonies. Allen Heights Baptist Church (pictured above) was able to move an elderly couple back into their home for the first time since Harvey. The resident admitted that this would be his first time sleeping in his bed in two years. What a wonderful gift! Each and every student stepped outside of their comfort zone to do something great for the Kingdom.

The challenge this week is to step out into boldness. Tonight students gave sacrificially for the continuation of Harvey recovery. They raised over $500! We were honored to hear the Word read by Angel from FBC La Vernia and an offertory prayer by Grayson from Allen Heights Baptist Church. It is so meaningful to have students participate in leading worship.

They have a lot of work to do tomorrow. Please partner with us by praying for our student's safety and rest this week. They have long days ahead of them but we know they can do it. Your prayers for our students and staff are always life-giving!
