A multi-leveled event to equip teachers for the Weekday Ministry Program, Preschool Bible Study, and Children’s Bible Study. Everyone in Childhood leadership will leave equipped to teach. A must for every teacher!

This year, the Childhood & Family Summit is going digital! By registering, you will have access to a library of videos of breakout sessions from all of our leaders, including keynote speaker, Pam Schiller. Along with the videos, you will have access to handouts to go along with each session. These videos will cover a wide range of topics and can be used for training for preschool and children's ministers, volunteers and leaders, weekday directors and teachers, and special needs ministry leaders and teachers. It will be a tremendous resource for anyone serving in preschool, children's, weekday, and special needs ministry.

Keynote Speaker

Pam Schiller

Pam Schiller is a curriculum specialist and freelance author and speaker. Dr. Schiller has worked as a childcare administrator and has also taught in the public schools. She served as Head of the Early Childhood Department at the University of Houston, where she also directed the Lab school. Dr. Schiller shares her extensive knowledge in workshops, radio and television interviews and as a popular keynote speaker and author. She is the author of several early childhood curricula, including the nationally acclaimed, Frog Street Pre-K Program thirty-four children’s books, and more than thirty teacher and parent resource books and other creative projects such as activity books, DVDs and CDs. Pam lives in Cypress, Texas.

If you are interested in participating to the Summit and getting Certification credit for these classes, these are the steps you need to take:

  1. Email Diane Lane (diane.lane[at]texasbaptists.org) and let her know you are participating in the Certification Classes.
  2. After approval, you must complete the assignments and the handouts for the classes and submitted them by email.
  3. Watch 4 of the breakouts listed under the class you would like to substitute and initial the correct place on the certificate.
  4. Email your certificate after you have watched and filled out the handouts from the videos.
