I had the opportunity to meet two little brothers, Ben and Sam*, in the rural community of Ciudad Mante. Through this meeting and God’s open door, I had the opportunity to tell them about Christ, and they made a profession of faith. I was shocked to see how even with teasing from their friends, and with a bit of pain and fear, they came to church for the first time. Knowing that their parents are Catholic leaders and that they do not like the idea of the boys having received Christ, this was an even bigger step for the boys.

Let us pray for these brothers, and the plan the Lord has for them. May they grow strong in the Lord together. May they feel at home at the church so they can be discipled by their new family of faith.
