God really does answer prayers. Prior to starting this wonderful BOUNCE week, BOUNCERS reached out to the church plant they are partnered with during their BOUNCE experience. Our church, Templo Bautista De Habla Hispane, was paired with one church plant but they were feeling very unsure and disconnected with the planter. This led them to question their involvement with BOUNCE, if it was the thing God was calling them to participate in. However, the church plant ended up being unable to participate with BOUNCE, therefore, there was a search for a different church plant that Templo could work along side. Kerruso Grace Church was found the weekend prior to starting this week off! This church plant was so excited to hear about the opportunity to be a part of BOUNCE! They were overjoyed when they learned that students would be willing to come to the Houston area to serve the people of the community with them. Kerruso Grace Church said these students were an answered prayer because they had been praying that God would bring help their way. After being paired with Kerruso Grace Church, Templo felt at peace with the partnership and knew God would be moving in might ways throughout this week!
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:4-7
It is always so amazing to hear the great things that God is doing in people's lives, especially when it is students who are being obedient to what God is calling them to do. Please continue to be praying for the BOUNCERS and the church plants that they are working with. Pray for growth of the church plants, open hearts and mind of people in the community, and obedience for the BOUNCERS as their grow and learn a multitude of different aspects of evangelizing and ministry.
