Website Update Q&A

What has changed?

The Texas Baptists website has been undergoing changes for years as the Web Team of the Communications Department has worked to migrate from one content management system to another. On November 1st, the pages under the “About” section were updated, and in December, the homepage and navigation were updated.

Why has it changed?

Updates are made to the Texas Baptists website in an ongoing effort to provide the best possible experience for visitors. Migrating to a new content management system allows for a more stable and secure site, and allows an opportunity to update site content and design while improving the overall user experience.

How will I be impacted?

Though the homepage design and navigation organization are being updated, no content is being removed from the website. Frequent visitors to the site may find that the content they are looking for is now accessible via a more direct path through the improved menu. All updates have been implemented with the intent to minimize any disruption to users.

How do I access the new navigation?

Simply click on the three horizontal bars in the top, right-hand corner of the site. This will launch the new menu from the bottom of the site. You may notice new links in the menu that will allow for more direct access to the resources you need.

How do I search within the new site?

Click on the three horizontal bars in the top, righthand corner, and then find the “Search” field in the bottom, left-hand corner of the menu.
