The May meeting of the Texas Baptists Executive Board was held on May 18-19 at Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, TX. Board directors heard ministry reports, giving and GC2 Strong process updates and approved three unique recommendations. 

Texas Baptists Communications welcomed Kalie Lowrie as their new director. Lowrie transitioned from her prior position as associate vice president for Communications and Alumni Engagement at Howard Payne University (HPU) early this spring.

University Baptist Church establishes missional focus through Pave, prioritizes prayer, sending laborers into the harvest. 

The Texas Baptist Missions Foundation (TBMF) celebrated 40 years of generosity in 2025. In ongoing celebration, TBMF has compiled a book that shares the history of the foundation’s work and stories of donors. 

The Texas Baptists Office of Cooperative Program welcomed Jeff Donnell as its new director. He transitioned from his prior position with the Adult Ministries Team at Lakepointe Church in Rockwall. He assumed the position on April 13.
