Bridges to the Future:

Moving Forward in Ministry

Join us for the Discipleship Leaders Retreat as we look to the future of church ministry and consider God’s call to lead with joy, faith, and vision. Church leaders with responsibilities for Bible study, discipleship, and executive leadership will gain valuable ministry insight as well as encouragement and connection with colleagues from across the state.

2022 is a pivotal year for many of our churches, and the Discipleship Leaders Retreat is a timely opportunity to help you discern and implement God’s direction in these days. (Plus hanging out with lots of others who share your calling and ministry patterns is just plain fun!)

Sam Rainer

Sam Rainer, Pastor of West Bradenton Baptist Church and President/Senior Consultant of Church Answers will be our guest for the retreat. Sam’s heart for the established church and his experience in church consulting with churches of all kinds will challenge and encourage you wherever you are in your leadership journey.

Scholarship Opportunity

Reggie Bowman Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is named after Reggie Bowman, former Minister of Education at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Abilene who passed away in 2005. Reggie was a friend to Christian Educators across the state. His enthusiasm and professionalism were trademarks of his dedication to follow Christ and lead people. As discipleship leaders we honor his example and want to encourage new generations of leaders in Christian education through this scholarship.
