General Session 1

The Lazy Approach to Evangelism
led by Eric Hernandez

Evangelism doesn’t have to be intimidating or difficult, but in a growing culture of doubt, it must be effective. This is the role of apologetics in evangelism. Taken from his new book, "The Lazy Approach to Evangelism: A Simple Guide for Conversing with Nonbelievers," this session will provide you with the relevant tools for navigating better, more fruitful conversations with those you encounter.

General Session 2

If God, Why Evil?
led by Sean McDowell

The problem of evil and suffering is undoubtedly one of the greatest challenges raised against God. Christians must respond empathetically, but also with truth. Sean begins this session by providing a helpful road map for personally helping people who are suffering. He then tackles the intellectual challenge of evil, showing that the existence of evil itself is actually a positive proof for the existence of God, and that the so-called “problem of evil” does not pose a trenchant problem for the Christian faith.

Based on a recent book by that title, this session will look at multiple scientific discoveries over the last century that point powerfully and persuasively toward the existence of a Creator who matches the description of the God of the Bible, as well as historical evidence that backs up the claim of Jesus that he's the unique Son of God.
