As we approach the end of July, many are beginning to prepare for back-to-school. We are thankful for the many educators in our Texas Baptists churches, and we pray for a successful upcoming school year.

The Texas Baptist Missions Foundation announced Tuesday that the Mabee Foundation has awarded a $1.3 million Challenge Grant toward the construction of the new Baptist Student Ministry Center at Baylor University.

The African American Fellowship Conference took place July 19-20 at Cornerstone Baptist Church of Killeen in Harker Heights, TX. The theme of the conference was “Legacy.”

A week ago, the BOUNCE week five summer mission team was ready to serve Mora County, New Mexico, assisting with recovery efforts resulting from the 2022 Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon Fire and post-fire floods. But, recent water contamination and flooding steered them to be a different community’s “answered prayer.”
