Baylor University conveyed to Texas Baptists the deed for a parcel of land set to house the new 12,000-square-foot Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) building in a ceremony held Thursday, April 18, in Waco, TX.
With the growth of the BSM’s ministry, more and more students need places to meet and to study the Bible together.
“It was just so easy to use it, and they explained every aspect of it, so it wasn’t overwhelming. I didn’t feel like I had to wade through difficult legal terms,”
“We’re not talking about statistics; we’re talking about names and faces of real people,”
“The money you give to missions never stops giving. People who gave to the Missions Foundation in 1984 and 1985, that money is still at work and making a difference,”
The banquet will be a time of fellowship and reflection on all that God has done through Arnold, Griffith and so many others working with TBMF.
“Discipleship keeps growing and evolving...and we are continually learning ways to connect with both the current and future generations,”
"Through endowment gifts, your legacy extends far beyond your lifetime.”
Many across the Texas Baptist family have risen up to meet the needs of their communities in the face of these challenges.
“It’s as if 2 Corinthians 9:12 is being lived out as Texas Baptists are ‘supplying the needs of God’s people"
