BOUNCERS Worship in Waco

by Jordan Pitman on July 19, 2017 in BOUNCE

Wednesday in Waco saw some help from our BOUNCE staff today! Some of us went out to worksites to help teams with some roofing projects.  It is awesome to see our staff working side by side with our BOUNCERS.

Tonight at worship, BOUNCERS participated in a Concert of Prayer.  This is a time when students and student leaders have the opportunity to worship through guided prayer for their neighbors and friends.  This is one of our favorite nights, and we love to hear the testimonies of both students and student leaders alike about how they have gone back home to minister to the “least” in their schools, churches, and communities.

All projects are moving along with the goal of finishing all by the end of the week.  For many residents, this is a much needed repair that may have seen several years of prayer before our BOUNCERS arrived this week.  Our goal is to give hope to any and all residents, neighbors, and communities through our service to them.  The served serve, and that is one element of BOUNCE that our participants can show easily.

Please be in prayer for our BOUNCERS as they continue roofing, painting and siding this week.  Please be in prayer for our adult leaders and BOUNCE staff as they serve in other capacities as well.

Texas Baptists is a movement of God’s people to share Christ and show love by strengthening churches and ministers, engaging culture and connecting the nations to Jesus.

The ministry of the convention is made possible by giving through the Texas Baptists Cooperative Program, Mary Hill Davis Offering® for Texas Missions, Texas Baptists Worldwide and Texas Baptist Missions Foundation. Thank you for your faithful and generous support.
