East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) is now offering a Promise Scholarship for children of Texas Baptists senior pastors. 

The May meeting of the Texas Baptists Executive Board was held on May 19-20 in Abilene, Texas, on the campus of Hardin-Simmons University. Board directors heard ministry reports and voted on business related to the new Texas Baptists Indemnity Program, GC2 Strong initiative and institutional relationship agreements.

On Sunday, June 1, Texas Baptists will present the 2025 Legacy Award, celebrating the heritage of Texas Baptists, to Gary Cook, higher education leader, and Charles R. Wade, a longtime pastor and leader in Texas Baptist life.

What a gift it is to enjoy fellowship with others in the church family! What a joy it is to spend time together with fellow church leaders from sister churches. What a reflection of God’s love it is when churches come together to worship, fellowship and cooperate for God’s mission.
