Homeowners Accept Christ in Victoria, TX

by Cherish Mason on July 13, 2018 in BOUNCE

We’ve had a great week at Bounce here in Victoria, TX! Bouncers have finished up at their work sites where they repaired thirteen roofs in the Victoria community, and they are preparing to head home on Saturday morning. Two homeowners accepted Christ this week after being presented with the gospel by two Bounce students.

Homeowner Lee Garcia accepted Christ on Tuesday morning after hearing the gospel from one of the students who was repairing his roof. He said that he experienced the love of Christ through the students who were working on his home. Lee explained that he wanted to know more about living by faith so that he could teach his family the same.

While roofing projects are some of the most difficult, the Bouncers this week persevered! Bounce is grateful to have partnered with Habitat for Humanity who provided all of the construction material this week. We pray that Bounce students and volunteers would have a safe travel home, and that they would return to their communities ready to serve where they are at. We hope to see everyone again at Bounce next year!
