Reaching the lost, planting more churches in north Phoenix
When NAMB missionaries Matthew and Tracy Mueller planted Valley Life Church North Peoria in the greater Phoenix area, their goal was twofold. They want to reach the north Phoenix area with the gospel. And they hope to disciple believers who will then plant more churches in north Phoenix.
Valley Life North Peoria Church, planted in 2020, is one of seven churches planted by Valley Life Church. The goal is not to build a large church, but many smaller neighborhood churches throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Muellers have been able to reach people with little and no church background. With events like showing movies in a local park, the church has begun to make an impact.
As one example, a man who had only attended church for Christmas and Eastern services said when he heard Matthew explain the gospel, he finally understood. He soon came to Christ, and was followed by two of his children. Matthew says his life’s “passion (is) to see lives changed through the power of the gospel, and to see believers equipped for the mission to be missionaries in their families, in their communities, at their work, and throughout their lives.”

Alcanzando a los perdidos, plantando más iglesias en el norte de Phoenix
Cuando Matthew y Tracy Mueller, misioneros de la Junta de Misiones Norteamericanas (NAMB), plantaron Valley Life Church North Peoria en el área de Phoenix, tenían una meta doble. Querían alcanzar la parte norte de Phoenix con el evangelio. Y, esperaban discipular creyentes quienes entonces plantarían más iglesias en el norte de Phoenix.
La iglesia Valley Life North Peoria, plantada en el 2020, es una de siete iglesias plantadas por Valley Life Church. La meta no es construir una iglesia grande sino muchas iglesias de comunidad más pequeñas por toda el área metropolitana de Phoenix. Los Mueller han alcanzado a personas con poco o ningún trasfondo de iglesia. Con eventos como proyectar películas en un parque local, la iglesia ha comenzado a hacer un impacto.
Como ejemplo, un hombre que solamente había asistido a la iglesia para los servicios de Navidad y Resurrección dijo que cuando escuchó a Matthew explicar el evangelio, por fin entendió. Pronto se entregó a Cristo y también dos de sus hijos. Matthew dice que "la pasión de su vida es ver vidas transformadas por medio del poder del evangelio, y ver a los creyentes equipados para ser misioneros en sus familias, comunidades, y trabajos a lo largo de sus vidas".
Cuando su iglesia ofrenda al Programa Cooperativo, ayuda a sostener a plantadores de iglesias como los Mueller quienes trabajan para llevar el evangelio y discipular en áreas como el norte de Phoenix.
