Christians are to be disciples and make disciples, and Texas Baptists want to do both well. The information on this page is intended to help church leaders with relationships and resources to enhance the discipleship process.

Teaching children about Christ’s love on their level of understanding and growth can be a challenging task. We assist in updating and enhancing the Preschool and Children’s Ministries of your church by providing resources on-site and via phone consultations.

Engaging the next generation of teenagers with the gospel of Jesus is a vital part of a healthy church. Our team supports youth leaders as they help students grow into fully devoted followers of Christ. The local church is the perfect place to educate and encourage parents as they disciple their families. We equip and empower church leaders who guide family ministry in their churches. 

Leadership Texas Baptists is a nine-month experience to engage, equip, and inform emerging leaders from churches across the state. Pastors, staff, and lay leaders accepted into the program will gather once a month in a cohort experience to hear from and dialog with Texas Baptists leaders.

The Discipleship Ministry Certification is designed for ministerial staff and lay leaders in a church’s Preschool/Children’s, Youth, and Adult Discipleship ministry. The certification equips both new and experienced leaders with practical ministry skills.

The Discipleship Collective brings you together with new and experienced volunteer and staff leaders in Sunday School and Small Group ministry across Texas. This leadership training will be led by some of the finest childhood, youth, and adult discipleship leaders in your area. This year’s focus on excellence in teaching will provide practical disciple-making help for leaders of kids, teen, and adult groups.
