On Nov. 1, Texas Baptists launched the Texas Baptists Indemnity Program (TBIP), a captive insurance program that offers coverages for qualifying churches, including property insurance, general liability, professional liability insurance, directors and officers liability insurance, sexual abuse coverages, cyber liability insurance, auto insurance and workers’ compensation.

Texas Baptists partnered with the Hispanic Baptist Convention of Texas (Convencion Bautista Hispana de Texas) in several key ways during the Annual Meeting held at the McAllen Convention Center from June 23-25.

For the second time, joint sessions of Texas Baptists Annual Meeting, the African American Fellowship Conference and the Hispanic Baptist Convention of Texas will join together in harmonious celebration for a three-day event.

Focused on being passionate disciples, the Hispanic Baptist Convention of Texas gathered in McAllen for their annual meeting from June 29-July 1. A total of 1,374 were registered in attendance, with 490 serving as messengers from Hispanic Baptist churches.
